Reading and speaking
Sun Club meets in a small room beside the library. Twelve pupils come every Tuesday. They read short stories and draw a new ending for one story. Today, An is reading aloud, while Mai is drawing a map for the characters. The group’s teacher sits near the door and helps with difficult words. The room has two shelves, a round table and some cushions. The pupils put their bags under the table so nobody trips over them. They like the club because quiet pupils and talkative pupils can all contribute in different ways.
