Ms Hoa is a community nurse in my neighbourhood. She helps children understand basic first aid and reminds us to seek adult help when an injury is serious. Every Tuesday she visits our school and explains each step patiently. I admire her because she makes useful knowledge easy to understand. Our class plans to make a poster showing what we have learned. We will ask her to check it before sharing it. This is one way we can help her work reach more people. I would like to volunteer responsibly and learn how to explain the steps clearly.

Use a question word + to-infinitive after know, learn, ask, decide: We learned how to shape clay. Do not add a second subject: not “how we to shape”. A phrasal verb has a verb and particle: find out (discover), look after (care for), pass down (transmit). Learn the whole phrase and whether an object can separate it.
