On Saturday, Lan visited a pottery workshop in her village with the school community club. Mr An, an artisan, showed the students how to turn local clay into useful bowls. He did not let them use the hot kiln. Instead, they shaped small cups at a safe table. Lan discovered that a bowl needs time to dry before it is fired. The club planned a free demonstration for younger pupils the next month. They hoped it would help children value local skills rather than simply buy souvenirs. Mr An agreed to teach because he wanted to pass his craft down. Lan wrote a report and asked him to check the facts before it was displayed.
First identify the central activity. Underline actions and reasons separately; an action tells what happened, a reason tells why. A negative detail can help you reject an attractive but inaccurate option.
