Genre: a proposal for a school campaign against cyberbullying
Proposal: A Safer Group Chat Campaign
We propose a one-week campaign against cyberbullying, led by the student council with a teacher responsible for safeguarding. The aim is to help pupils recognise harmful behaviour and know where to seek support. Short classroom discussions will use fictional cases rather than real screenshots. A poster will explain three actions: do not forward harmful material, preserve relevant evidence safely, and report concerns to a trusted adult or the platform. A confidential question box will allow pupils to ask for guidance without naming others publicly. The teacher will review every message and follow school procedures when safety is involved. We will evaluate whether pupils can identify a reporting route, not count how many personal stories they disclose. The campaign should increase support without creating another opportunity for humiliation.
