Local-action survey — completed illustrative questionnaire and report: Ask consenting adults which actions are practical: avoiding waste burning, reducing unnecessary journeys, saving electricity or improving equipment maintenance. Ask about barriers as well as intentions. Demonstration result: of eight fictional respondents, five choose electricity saving and three transport changes; counts are examples, not observations. The report would recommend the action supported by real responses and explain cost/access barriers. Never use a household’s answer to shame it publicly. Final product: anonymous chart, dated method, source-based mechanism and a realistic recommendation.
Completed model recommendation: five of eight fictional respondents, 62.5%, selected electricity saving, compared with three, 37.5%, who selected transport changes. We would therefore begin with a teacher-reviewed information sheet about reducing unnecessary electricity use while keeping essential services available. Ask what cost or access barriers a real group faces before recommending equipment changes. These eight demonstration responses are not a representative community sample or a measured emissions reduction.
