A complete speaking model

A talking reminder box can help someone remember a non-essential task, such as returning a library book. Its large button makes the message easy to activate. A visible label offers an alternative to sound. However, a flat battery can make it fail. I would describe the limitation clearly rather than advertise it as suitable for medical reminders.

Interaction and development

A: Could you show me how to focus the camera, please?
B: Certainly. Put the page flat and press this button once.
A: Would you mind checking the image?
B: Not at all. The letters are clear now.

Give a position, support it with a concrete example, acknowledge a limitation and invite a response. A partner should ask a real follow-up question, not read a separate prepared speech.

Khái niệm chính

Stress in three-syllable nouns
COM-pu-ter is not the standard pattern: com-PU-ter /kəmˈpjuːtər/. Other examples: IN-ter-net, BEN-e-fit, in-VEN-tion. Mark the syllable carrying primary stress; the number of syllables alone does not determine stress. Read: The invention brings benefits to computer users.
Grammar
Present perfect: have/has + past participle connects past experience or an unfinished period to now: We have tested the device twice. Use past simple with a finished past time: We tested it yesterday. A gerund names an activity after enjoy or a preposition: useful for recording. A to-infinitive can express purpose: We use it to record instructions.
