Writing model, original:
A limestone valley can be a magnificent natural wonder. Its cliffs, caves and rivers show how water and rock interact over a long period. Before visiting, travellers should check whether the route is open and follow local safety advice. I would like to learn about the landscape rather than only take photographs. Visitors can help preserve it by staying on marked paths, carrying waste out and leaving natural objects in place. These small actions do not solve every environmental problem, but they reduce avoidable damage and show respect for a place that others will visit later.
Plan a topic sentence, two supporting details, a reason or example and a closing. Use the grammar of this unit where it naturally fits. Check meaning first, then grammar and spelling; a longer paragraph is not automatically better.
Your task: Write a 90–110-word paragraph about a natural wonder or landscape. Describe two features and explain how visitors can help protect it. Do not invent a real site’s measurements.
