A new conversation
Mai: What are you preparing for our class discussion about shopping?
Nam: I have a short report. Here is my main idea.
I prefer thoughtful shopping to buying things on impulse. Before I go to a shop,I write down what I need and set a budget. I compare the total price, not just the discount. I also check quality and keep the receipt. Open-air markets can offer fresh local food, while supermarkets may have clear fixed prices. Neither is always better for every purchase. A useful choice depends on the product, the price, and how long I expect to use it.
Mai: Can you give a reason for your opinion?
Nam: Yes. We should consider both benefits and difficulties.
