Mở rộng: câu hỏi Yes/No có thể tường thuật với if/whether; đây không thay cho trọng tâm Wh- của bài. Đổi đại từ,lùi thì và đổi thời gian/nơi theo ngữ cảnh. Không giữ do/does/did khi chúng chỉ làm trợ động từ hỏi.
