Email 1 — Mai to the school eco-club: We collect plastic cups after events, but I wonder why we keep buying so many. Could we offer refillable cups and a washing station? We should check hygiene and access before recommending a change.
Email 2 — Phuc’s reply: I agree that prevention should come before collection. However, a reusable cup is useful only if it is used repeatedly and washed safely. Let’s begin with one supervised event and record purchases, returns and breakages. We should not compare a whole school year with one afternoon.
Email 3 — Mai to the team: Good point. I will ask the teacher to confirm safe washing arrangements. We can report what our small trial actually shows and explain its limits. Calling a product green is not enough; we need to consider how it is used. If the trial fails, that information can still improve the next plan.
